16 Port Serial over the Net™
The SN0116 Serial over the NET™ is a control unit that provides remote serial access to up to 16 (SN0116) servers or other serial IT devices (hubs, routers, power management devices, etc.), via a TCP/IP connection. Up to 16 users can log in at the same time from any computer connected to the Internet, whether down the hall, or half way around the world. Each is able to control a separate port so that 16 attached devices can be accessed at the same time.

Dial in Modem Access: Using serial applications (such as Hyperterminal), or IP applications (such as Telnet).
Direct Port Addressing: Sessions may be established directly to any Serial over IP port using SSH.
Direct terminal attachment.
Hardware and software flow control.
Surge protection.
Hot-pluggable - Add and remove servers without rebooting.
Rack mountable in 1U system rack.
Sun Ready: Hardware break suppression ensures uninterrupted operation of your Solaris server.
Supports TCP/IP, UDP/IP, Telnet, SSH, SSL and PPP.
Console port automatically detects and adjusts to incoming protocol. |
